 Basic Introduction

· Features: It is known as 'Siam Tulip' because of its shape, and is a perennial bulbous plant in the Zingiberaceae family. 

· Ornamental Value: Ideal for cut flower arrangements and decorative potted plants.


Bulb(Root Ball) Information

We supply them as bulbs and ensure you receive healthy, plump bulbs with a top diameter greater than one cm and at least three well-developed storage roots.

· Flowering Period: Blooms in summer (above 25°C) and continues for over 4 months.

· Dormancy Period: Enters dormancy in winter (below 15°C).

· Storage: Store bulbs at room temperature (>10°C) in a dry, well-ventilated area during winter.


Care Tips

· Temperature: Prefers warm conditions and is not frost-tolerant (optimal range: 25-35°C; nighttime temperature ≥18°C).

· Light: Enjoys bright, filtered light (50%-70% shade).

· Water and Fertilizer: Provide ample water and nutrients during the growing season; refrain from watering during dormancy.

· Humidity: Prefers high humidity and should be protected from strong winds (maintain relative humidity around 70%).

· Substrate: Requires a loose, fertile, and slightly acidic substrate for optimal growth.
