Carnivorous

The carnivorous plant group comprises diverse families of plants that obtain nutrients by trapping and digesting insects, and they are commonly referred to as insectivorous plants or flytraps. Our company mainly sell three key families within this group: Nepenthaceae, Sarraceniaceae, and Droseraceae. Each of these families has unique morphological features adapted for predation: Nepenthaceae, known as pitcher plants, grow tubular "pitchers" filled with digestive fluid to trap prey; Sarraceniaceae have trumpet-shaped leaves that lure and capture insects; and Droseraceae, which include sundews, have sticky hairs on their leaves to catch small insects. These carnivorous plants are highly sought after by plant collectors and enthusiasts—they serve as unique ornamental additions to homes, greenhouses, and botanical gardens, while also functioning as valuable educational tools to showcase special ecological adaptations in plants.
